Name of the initiative: Creative space for students
The authors of the initiative created a common space in the courtyard of the Chernivtsi Polytechnic College and held a series of open-air classes to improve communication between internally displaced persons and local residents.
The courtyard turned into a cozy place for various events: the walls were insulated and decorated with paintings, canopies, street furniture, energy-saving equipment, street garlands on solar batteries were installed, a projector and stationery for master classes were purchased.
Among the events held in the space, in particular, the following:
1. Psychological training "Stress Management" helped participants learn effective methods to overcome nervous tension, improve their emotional state and develop self-regulation skills.
2. Master class "Amulets in the palm of your hand: making keychains for the Defenders". Each keychain, made by students' hands, symbolizes support and gratitude to our Heroes.
3. Lecture "About game development, concept art, industry and something else". Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in all stages of game development - from the first idea to the implementation of ideas in virtual worlds.
4. Plein-air "Autumn on Canvas: Inspiration through the Colors of Nature" gave participants the opportunity to try their hand at plein-air painting, which develops the ability to convey colors, textures and lighting on canvas in real conditions.
5. The Power of Unity: Dialogue with the Defenders. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories about their experiences on the front lines, about the challenges and dangers they face every day.
6. The Magic of Air Plasticine: Creating Miracles with Our Own Hands with Tetyana Perepelitsa. Participants learned how to create unique crafts using a light and pleasant material - air plasticine.
7. Training in first aid "Save Correctly: First Aid Without Fear". The event introduced students and teachers to the basic techniques and methods that ensure the preservation of life and provide first aid in emergency situations.
The space will continue to operate, and events in it are attended by both students and families of forced migrants who live in the dormitory of this educational institution.
